Rumi was the first employee of the Council and has supported the organization’s growth through a wide range of responsibilities. She manages CWH’s business and financial affairs, including nonprofit auditing and project support.
Drew is a Certified Arborist, Water Conservation Specialist, and Watershed Coordinator with more than twenty years of experience in arboriculture, urban forestry, horticulture, ecological restoration, and landscape design.
Kristina brings international experience in water governance, rural sanitation, environmental advocacy, climate work, and nature-based solutions. She supports CWH’s watershed coordination work and community-centered planning.
Alonso supports online and in-person education, engagement, and outreach. His background includes environmental education, wildland restoration, community engagement, marketing, communications, and technical support for small businesses.
Valeria supports Upper Los Angeles River watershed coordinators through the Safe Clean Water Program and helps increase awareness of program impacts through community engagement and outreach.
Frank supports administrative operations, contracts, vendors, organizational workflows, onboarding, and HR processes. His work helps strengthen internal systems and organizational efficiency.
Barbara supports CWH’s ReDesignLA program and works with community-based organizations and Tribal entities on green infrastructure efforts throughout Los Angeles.
Jasmin supports compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. She provides guidance on grant requirements, contract terms, contract management, and risk management.
Jason oversees CWH’s habitat restoration, green infrastructure, and technical assistance programs. His work includes Arundo eradication, ReDesignLA, GIS, cartography, visualization, and watershed planning.
Debbie supports CWH’s green infrastructure and green street work, including projects that connect communities with nature and improve quality of life for people and wildlife.
Clarasophia supports CWH’s monitoring projects, community events, and technical assistance for green infrastructure. Her background includes biology, environmental science, ecological ethics, and restoration.
Amanda supports CWH’s community-based organization capacity building work, ReDesignLA, watershed coordination engagement, and multi-benefit community-centered green infrastructure projects.
Isabelle supports ReDesignLA through grant application efforts, meeting coordination, and community-based organization project development resources.
Belle provides technical support for CWH’s applied research, watershed monitoring, data analysis, and scientific study design. Her background includes microbiology, environmental toxicology, chemistry, and GIS-supported research.
Tanishka supports CWH’s work on Nature-Based Solutions, multi-benefit stormwater management, urban forestry, and technical assistance for underserved municipalities and community-based organizations.
